This policy outlines the legal responsibilities and compliance requirements for customers, travelers, visitors, and general users ("Customers") who access or use the website/platform ("Platform") owned and operated by Gantu Online Pvt. Ltd. ("Gantu", "we", "us", "our").

By using, browsing, or booking through the Platform, Customers agree to follow this Policy along with the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and General Legal Compliance Policy.

1. Compliance With Applicable Laws

a) Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 & Intermediary Guidelines, 2021

Customers must not:

  • Upload or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, or obscene content
  • Use the platform to defraud agents or other users
  • Impersonate any individual or business
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • Spread malware, phishing links, or harmful code

b) Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Customers have rights but also legal duties, including:

  • Providing accurate details while making inquiries or bookings
  • Not engaging in unfair, misleading, or fraudulent conduct
  • Not raising false complaints to gain refunds or benefits

c) Indian Contract Act, 1872

By submitting a booking, inquiry, or payment (where applicable):

  • Customers consent to enter into a valid contract
  • Commit to providing truthful and verified information
  • Agree to honour obligations arising from confirmed orders or reservations

d) Data Privacy & Protection

Customers must:

  • Not misuse or disclose private contact details of agents or service providers
  • Follow Gantu's Privacy & Cookies policies
  • Not scrape, harvest, or download data for unauthorized use

2. Customer Responsibilities While Using the Platform

a) Provide Accurate Information

Customers must provide:

  • Correct name
  • Valid contact details
  • Accurate travel preferences
  • Genuine inquiry details

Submitting fake inquiries or fraudulent contact information is strictly prohibited.

b) Use Platform for Legitimate Purposes Only

Customers agree not to:

  • Spam agents with bulk or repeated inquiries
  • Misuse contact numbers for advertising or harassment
  • Use the platform for activities unrelated to legitimate travel planning
  • Intentionally provide misleading booking details

c) Verify All Travel Documents

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Valid identity documents
  • Visa requirements, travel permits
  • Health documents
  • Age and eligibility restrictions

Gantu is not responsible for travel denial due to missing documentation.

d) Exercise Due Diligence Before Payments

Customers must:

  • Independently verify the authenticity and credibility of service providers
  • Make payments only after reviewing terms offered by the provider
  • Save proof of payment and communication

Gantu does not become a party to financial transactions or service contracts.

3. Prohibited Customer Activities

Customers must not:

  • Submit inquiries with false names or fake contact details
  • Attempt to exploit agents via unreasonable refund demands
  • Engage in fraudulent chargebacks
  • Abuse or harass service providers
  • Publish defaming or false reviews
  • Copy or steal content, packages, or pricing
  • Misuse the Platform for non-travel activities
  • Violate any law during use of the Platform

Violation may result in suspension, blocking, or legal action.

4. Financial, Payment & Booking Compliance

Customers must ensure:

  • Payments are made only through legitimate means
  • Transactions comply with applicable banking, GST, and RBI norms
  • No use of stolen, unauthorized, or third-party payment cards

If a customer makes a payment to a service provider:

  • The contract is solely between the customer and the provider
  • Gantu is not liable for service quality, cancellations, or disputes
  • Gantu does not mediate payment-related disagreements

5. Compliance When Interacting With Agents or Service Providers

Customers must:

  • Communicate respectfully
  • Not request illegal services
  • Not coerce agents to violate travel, visa, or tourism regulations
  • Not demand discounted or free services through threats or harassment
  • Not bypass the platform to misuse contact details for unauthorized purposes

6. Content, Reviews & Feedback

When providing any content on the Platform, customers must ensure:

  • Reviews are truthful and based on genuine experiences
  • No use of obscene, abusive, defamatory, or misleading content
  • No sharing of private or sensitive data of other users

Gantu may moderate, hide, or remove non-compliant content.

7. Security Compliance

Customers must:

  • Maintain confidentiality of their login credentials
  • Not share accounts with others
  • Immediately report unauthorized login or suspicious activity
  • Not attempt to hack, bypass, or disrupt platform security

8. Compliance With Website Rules and Technical Policies

Customers agree to:

  • Follow website usage rules
  • Not overload systems with automated requests
  • Not use bots, crawlers, or scrapers without authorization
